We won a business continuity award for showing 162,000 people how to cope in a crisis
The past year has seen Open Agency collaborate with Royal Mail Group to undertake a complete overhaul of their business continuity plans. As part of the UK's National Critical Infrastructure, Royal Mail is immediately impacted by any incident from terrorism to adverse weather to global pandemics, and there is the requirement to not only have plans and contingencies to deal with such events, but to communicate it clearly and effectively to customers, regulators and employees at every level of the business.
This is where Open Agency were able to help. Their radical approach to what could otherwise be a series of dull safety manuals, has been widely applauded with industry expert Martin Caddick describing them as "the best material we have ever seen".
Cat Townsend from Open Agency described the award as the icing on the cake. "There is always a certain amount of satisfaction creating something that is aesthetically pleasing, but to be recognised for it's effectiveness as well... it's a good indication that you are doing your job properly."
