A couple of Whizz Kidz
Gary Cooke and Cat Townsend are running the Virgin London Marathon this year for Whizz-Kidz - a charity that is all about giving disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. Whizz Kidz meets their individual mobility needs and ensures they get the right mobility equipment, advice and training at the right time.
Gary & Cat are no strangers to marathon running, having competed in 9 marathons between them. In her last London Marathon, Cat proposed to her boyfriend at the the 21 mile marker! Morning runs before and after Open hours will become the norm for the next 4 months. We'll keep you updated on their progress.
