We won an award for showing 162,000 people how to cope in a crisis.
As part of the UK's National Critical Infrastructure, Royal Mail is immediately impacted by any major incident; from terrorism to adverse weather. Open Agency worked closely with Royal Mail to develop and design a series of information packs and manuals showing how to manage these incidents effectively.
The aim was to create accessible, informative and easy to use guides appropriate to the audience - whether that be the person on the floor or the national Business Protection Team. The 'epicentre' diagram was used to differentiate between the five guides, and illustrate where each guide sat within the sequence, whilst reinforcing the concept of asking people to consider the wider effect of their response.
Shortlisted in three categories for this year's Business Continuity Awards, Open Agency's revolutionary approach has been widely applauded, and took home the award for Crisis Strategy of the Year.
